Hank catching up on the Royal Wedding

Yesterday was post-wedding recovery in our street.  Lots of bleary eyes and a few sore heads but it was worth it for the fun we had getting in that state.

I spent some time in the afternoon reading through the newspaper coverage and studying in detail the posh frocks and hats that had been on display on Friday.  Pat caught Hank deciding to get a close up of some of the news.

I've a scrapbook page to share with you but need to work out why Picasa isn't recognising my card reader first! Who knows, there might be another post later ...

Easter Wishes

It's been a while and I'd really forgotten I had a blog until I saw it on the blog list of a friend whilst blog hopping the other day. It's maybe time then to update my neglected blog with another card.

I was inspired yesterday to make my Mum and Dad an Easter card by the scrap of Prima paper left over from a beautiful class created by the gorgeous and sickingly talented Ann Freeman and taught at the ATDML spring retreat.  It was also a perfect excuse to use my new Four Frames Stampin' Up! stamp set with the new decorative label punch.  The Prima paper matches pefectly with SU rose red cardstock and I've added some soft suede seam binding and flower made from rose red seam binding.

Mum was delighted with the card but I think Dad was more impressed with his chocolate egg!
